BASWA Acoustic Plaster for walls and ceilings

System structure

A layer of the coating compound BASWAphon Fine is applied to a substrate (drywall or concrete) of grouted and ground acoustic panels and smoothened. The system has been designed so that it can be applied to a suspended ceiling or directly onto concrete. The height above the surface is 30mm, 50mm or 70mm.

Characteristics

The granularity of the plaster BASWAphon Fine is 0.5mm, which results in a smooth and fine surface. Because only one layer of plaster is applied, the system is relatively inexpensive. The coating compound BASWAphon Fine acoustic plaster can be removed during a renovation by using vapour and applying a new layer. BASWAphon Fine can be dyed in all shades. Contamination can be prevented, or removed easier later, by subsequent post-treatment using the surface protector.

Acoustics

A single layer of coating compound with a high degree of porosity ensures excellent absorption characteristics.

Recommended use

Horizontal and vertical surfaces.
